Valencia CF goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili has been making waves this season with his impressive performances. With a total of 9.7 goals prevented, he has managed to keep the most goals out of any other LALIGA EA Sports 23-24 goalkeeper. In 35 matches, Opta reports that the team faced a staggering 131 shots on target, with an expected goal total (xGOT) of 43.7. Despite this, Mamardashvili allowed only 34 goals to be scored, excluding own goals, saving a grand total of 9.7 goals this season.
Throughout the season, Mamardashvili has set new records in LALIGA. He currently holds the record for the most consecutive starts as a goalkeeper (69), and also broke his own record for the most clean sheets in LaLiga (13). Alongside Unai Simón, he made the most penalty saves this season (3). Furthermore, he was nominated for the best U-23 player of the month for March in LALIGA EA Sports 23-24.
