These sensors will complement the company’s existing air zone sensors and are intended to optimize fertilizer and energy usage, ultimately increasing crop yields and enhancing agricultural efficiency.

CEO Simon Deacon highlighted the potential of the smart agriculture market, which is projected to reach a global value of $55 billion by 2032 with a 12% growth rate. As a company with a global distribution network, Light Science Technologies expects to integrate the new sensor technology into its SensorGrow product range for commercial sale following a 12-month trial period.
