A suspect has been taken into custody for allegedly stealing from a business in Lake Hallie, Wisconsin. On April 4, 2024, Andrew Charlesworth-White of Sand Creek was arrested on suspicion of felony theft and taken to the Chippewa County Jail. The investigation and apprehension of the suspect were credited to the Lake Hallie police department.
On March 28, 2024, Lake Hallie police responded to a report of theft at a business on 118th Street in the village. The business reported the theft of over 30 semi-truck tire rims and other items, totaling an estimated loss of $4,500. Following the report, on April 2, 2024, a detective contacted scrap yards with information about the stolen items and a description of the suspect’s vehicle. The next day, a local scrap yard informed the detective that all the stolen items were in their possession.
This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of reporting thefts and working together with law enforcement to seek justice for the victims.
