In the wake of recent acts of anti-Semitism, Holocaust survivor Naomi Ebenstein has condemned these actions as “shameful” and a “victory” for those who wish to see the downfall of Jews and Holocaust deniers. She emphasizes the urgent need for the world to recognize and combat this scourge of hatred, particularly in light of the swastikas raised in London.
Lord Pickles, an advocate for a national Holocaust memorial near the Houses of Parliament, expressed his disappointment at seeing the memorial covered in a tarp out of fear of vandalism. He questioned whether fear has caused the country to become so paralyzed that it is now hiding monuments rather than expecting protesters to respect them.
Amidst these troubling events, there is growing concern about the rise of anti-Semitism and its impact on society. Leaders and survivors alike are speaking out against these acts of hatred and calling for solidarity and awareness in order to combat all forms of discrimination.
