The Helsinki Stock Exchange ended the day with a general index decrease of 0.5 percent, reaching 9925.34 points. The most traded stock was Nordea bank, whose share price fell by 2.5 percent to €10.98. Most of the day’s most active shares saw downward movement, while Dovre Group stood out as the top riser, up by 7.4 percent to €0.33. On the other hand, Reka Industrial saw its share price fall by 29.3 percent to €6.38 after paying out a dividend of €2.00 per share, which is more than 22% of the company’s value.
Several companies in various sectors also declared dividends today, including food and packaging line companies, discount stores and shipping companies. In addition, Metsä Group invested approximately €60 million in Simpelee’s folding carton machine renewal project, expected to be completed by mid-2025. Metsä Board’s B share dropped by 0.6 percent to €7.16 euros after the investment announcement was made.
Spinnova concluded its restructuring talks and let go of eight positions as part of an updated strategy plan.
