The Cardinals have announced the signing of four draftees to contracts. Among them are fifth-round linebacker Xavier Thomas, fifth-round offensive tackle Christian Jones, sixth-round receiver Tejhaun Palmer, and seventh-round cornerback Jaden Davis. With these signings, there are now eight draftees left unsigned.
Xavier Thomas was the No. 3 prospect in the 2018 class and had an impressive freshman year at Clemson where he finished as an All-American. In 2023, he recorded 25 tackles, four tackles for loss, and three sacks. Christian Jones is a versatile swing tackle who was the second offensive lineman drafted by the Cardinals.
Tejhaun Palmer is now part of a revamped receiving group which includes Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson, Greg Dortch, and veteran Chris Moore. Jaden Davis is a cornerback who has experience playing outside, in the slot, and at safety. He had a productive season with 42 tackles, four pass deflections, and two forced fumbles.
