Austrian Shooter’s Remarkable Performance at Hyundai Archery World Cup; Jyothi Surekha Vennam Secures Spot in Final with Intense Battle

The 27-year-old Austrian shooter had a remarkable performance in the 15-arrow match at the Hyundai Archery World Cup. He did not miss the eight-centimeter 10-ring and only missed the four-centimeter X-ring twice in the first end, and once each in the second and third. This was his first appearance at this prestigious competition, and he expressed his excitement at winning in Mexico after a difficult season last year where he didn’t win anything.

On the other hand, Jyothi Surekha Vennam will be participating in her second Hyundai Archery World Cup after competing in Hermosillo last year. She secured her slot in the final by beating the top-seeded archer from Mexico in a close match that went down to the wire. It was an intense battle as Andrea Becerra had a point to lose with an arrow to go. However, her last shot broke high, landing in the eight, which gave Vennam the opportunity to secure the win.

The Hyundai Archery World Cup is currently underway with three stages instead of four.
