The International Ice Hockey Federation has announced the 32 officials who will be working at the 2024 IIHF World Championship. The tournament is set to take place in Prague and Ostrava, Czechia, starting on May 10 and concluding with the Gold Medal game on May 26.
The teams competing in Group A include Austria, Canada, Denmark, Great Britain, Finland, Norway, Switzerland, and host Czechia. Group B consists of France, Germany, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Poland, Slovakia, Sweden, and the United States.
The list of referees selected for the championship includes Andris Ansons from Latvia and Tobias Bjork from Sweden. Riku Brander from Finland and Martin Frano from Czechia are also among those chosen as officials. In addition to these names are Michael Campbell from Canada and Lassi Heikkinen from Finland. Christoffer Holm from Sweden is also included in the list of referees selected for this prestigious event.
Mikael Holm from Sweden is another official who has been chosen to officiate at the tournament. Jan Hribik from Czechia and Tomas Hronsky from Slovakia are also among those who have been selected as officials for this event. Mikko Kaukokari from Finland is another official who has been chosen to work at the tournament. Sean MacFarlane from the USA is also included in this list of officials for this event. Mark Pearce
