The C Institute is hosting the World Sustainability Summit in The Sustainable City – Dubai, on April 25 and 26. This center specializes in education, training, and research focused on sustainability and achieving net-zero emissions.
Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the C Institute, Engineer Fares Saeed, expressed the importance of achieving net-zero emissions in today’s climate. The summit aims to contribute to the UAE’s initiative to achieve climate neutrality and reduce emissions by 2050 by bringing together stakeholders to share knowledge and ideas.
The event signifies a step towards a future with net-zero emissions and a commitment to sustainable practices for a more environmentally conscious world. Notable speakers like Maha Al-Qattan, Gary King, Jack Matthews, and Ghanem Al Falasi will address the urgent need for global greenhouse gas emissions to reach net-zero levels. International researchers from prestigious universities and companies will present research papers on a range of sustainability topics including climate initiatives, circular economy solutions, and resilient city strategies.
The summit is organized in partnership with C Holding, a company specializing in sustainable city design, construction, and investment. C Holding works closely with the academic team at the C Institute to promote climate neutrality goals and provide partners with the knowledge and tools needed to achieve global emissions targets. In addition to discussions and academic dialogues, a training camp will focus on supporting emerging companies in the sustainability sector offering opportunities for growth and collaboration.
