Wolves are close to acquiring Celta Vigo striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, with a loan deal in the works. The 24-year-old will undergo a medical on Monday before officially joining the team. The initial loan fee for Larsen is 3m euros (£2.5m), and Wolves have the option to make the move permanent next summer for 27m euros (£23m).
Larsen had an impressive season last year, scoring 16 goals for club and country. He began his career at Sarpsborg before moving to Groningen in the Netherlands, where he scored 24 goals in 67 appearances. Celta Vigo then brought him to Spain in 2022 for a reported fee of 11m euros (£9.3m), and he has since scored 18 times in 74 games.
Wolves have also secured the signings of winger Rodrigo Gomes from Braga on a five-year deal, and teenage right-back Pedro Lima from Sport Recife in Brazil, who will join the club on July 1st. With these new additions, Wolves are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season.
