Audible, in collaboration with Marvel Entertainment, has announced the upcoming release of the final season of the Italian Audible Original series “Marvel’s Wastelanders.” This sixth season will be available exclusively in Italy starting on September 13, 2024. The season will feature well-known voices such as Neri Marcorè, Fabrizio Bentivoglio, Lella Costa, Sergio Rubini, and Luca Ward, who have all participated in previous seasons.
The storyline follows Wolverine, Black Widow, Star-Lord, Hawkeye, and Doctor Doom as they work together to stop Valeria Richards. Valeria is described as the smartest woman on Earth and immortal but a loner who has gained possession of the Cosmic Cube. This artifact is capable of altering reality and poses a threat to the characters who must unravel mysteries in the “Dead Zone” to prevent Valeria from carrying out a destructive plan. The stakes are high for this epic conclusion of the series.
This collaboration between Audible and Marvel Entertainment brings high-quality production values and top-notch actors lending their voices to iconic Marvel characters. The “Marvel’s Wastelanders” series originally launched in English in June 2021 and promises to be an epic conclusion with original sound design by One Thousand Birds and music by Lindsay Jones. Directed by Kimberly Senior and written by Nick Bernardone, J. Holtham, and Mark Waid, this season is set to be a captivating listen.
