UW-Madison Science Expeditions Provides Engaging Learning Experience for All Ages

The UW-Madison Science Expeditions event took place over three days, providing students and families with numerous opportunities to engage with science in various ways. Val Blair, a senior outreach coordinator at the Morgridge Institute for Research, highlighted the importance of the event in showcasing the science research conducted at UW-Madison. The Discovery Building on campus was one of the locations where student organizations, graduate students, and research labs offered free activities for attendees. Community groups such as the Henry Vilas Zoo and the Wisconsin Science Museum also participated in the event, adding to its overall appeal.

This year’s spring event was part of UW-Madison’s 175th celebration, featuring additional features and activities for visitors to explore. The goal was to create an environment that blended fun and learning while encouraging families to come together to discover science and technology.
