A new children’s book, “The Soil in Jackie’s Garden,” has been released by Feeding Minds Press. Written by acclaimed author Peggy Thomas and illustrated by talented artist Neely Daggett, the book follows Jackie and her garden friends as they explore the wonders of soil and the process of plant growth.
“The Soil in Jackie’s Garden” is filled with scientific facts about soil, plants, pollinators, decomposers, and more. Readers ages six and up will learn about environmental stewardship, gardening care, plant life cycles, the importance of pollinators, and composting.
Feeding Minds Press is excited to add this engaging and educational picture book to their collection. The book is the 10th title from Feeding Minds Press, joining other popular titles like “Potatoes for Pirate Pearl” and “I LOVE Strawberries,” which has won several awards. All books are available for purchase through Feeding Minds Press. Additionally, the Foundation for Agriculture will be releasing more resources, including an educator’s guide, to help students explore the ways in which food is grown.
