Drew Gordon, the older brother of Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon, passed away in a car accident in Portland, Oregon at the age of 33. His agent, Calvin Andrews, confirmed the sad news to ESPN late Thursday.

Drew Gordon was a talented basketball player who started his collegiate career at UCLA before transferring to New Mexico for his junior season. Despite not being drafted in 2012, he played for the Dallas Mavericks in Summer League and went on to have a successful career that included stints in foreign leagues and the G League before signing with the Philadelphia 76ers.

During his time with the 76ers, he played in nine games during the 2014-15 season before being waived in December. After that, Drew Gordon played most of his professional basketball career overseas, including being named an All-Star in France in 2015. Despite his accomplishments, he retired from basketball in 2023.
