The excitement is palpable at the Ventura County Fairgrounds as extreme sports athletes from across the globe showcase their skills in BMX, Moto, and Skate events. This year’s lineup features some of the best athletes in the industry, including Nyjah Huston, Arisa Trew, Reese Nelson, Ryan Williams, Kevin Peraza, Hannah Roberts, Colby Raha, Axell Hodges, and Jackson Strong – many of whom are X Games and Olympic champions.
Valerie Ryan, Vice President of X Games Fan Experience and Hospitality, is thrilled about this year’s competition. She highlighted improvements from last year’s event such as the addition of wakeskate competition – a unique water-based alternative to skateboarding. There is now twice as much space available for attendees to enjoy live music included in every GA ticket. Additionally, there are more interactive activities and professional demos for visitors to take part in.
Local residents like Scott Christopher are ecstatic that the X Games will be taking place near them this year. Apart from the thrilling events on offer during the daytime hours each afternoon and evening will feature live music performances on the main stage with DJ Kaskade headlining on Saturday night.
