As a solo traveler, I have been fortunate to explore all 50 US states. Each state has its own unique charm and attractions, but there are a few places that I do not feel compelled to revisit.
A 2016 survey conducted by Ipsos revealed that the average American had only visited around 12.5 states. However, my solo travel adventures have taken me to every corner of the country, providing me with a diverse range of experiences and a sense of accomplishment that I never thought possible. While I have found something to appreciate in each state, there are some locations that I am not eager to explore again.
Whether it was due to the landscapes not aligning with my preferences or the long distances required to travel, there are five states that I am not in a rush to return to. Despite this, I am grateful for the opportunity to have ventured to every state in the US and look forward to continuing my solo travel explorations in new and exciting destinations.
