The Homecoming Homeport festival, organized by Aufbruch Hamburg and HPA, will launch on July 4 at the Landungsbrücken in St. Pauli with a theme of “Deeptech X Future Ports”. Instead of the traditional deck chairs, attendees will find pagodas set up for their comfort. The event will feature panel discussions and sessions on innovative maritime solutions covering topics such as mobile sensor technology, automation, robotics, AR, VR, digital twins, and 3D printing.
Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about numerous use cases in these areas. Teichmann, one of the organizers, emphasized that Homeport is a tech enabler for the port of the future. She highlighted the importance of building a bridge between the port industry and technology on an international scale. By showcasing cutting-edge technologies and facilitating discussions on their applications in the maritime sector, Homecoming Homeport aims to drive innovation and progress in port operations and development.
