As part of WFPK Mental Health Day, CCLOU is proud to sponsor the event and provide resources for those in need of mental health support. These resources include the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 9-8-8, Louisville Suicide Prevention Lifeline by texting LOU to 741741, the Kentucky chapter of American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Seven Counties Services Adult Crisis Line at 502-589-5313, Seven Counties Services Child Crisis Line at 502-589-8070, Mental Health Lou, the Veterans Crisis and Military Crisis Line at 1-800-273-8255 Press 1, and the Kentucky Nurses Association: Kentucky Nurses Helping Nurses at 1-877-358-0420.

It is important to note that mental health is crucial and should not be overlooked. One way to combat racism is by feeling heard and understood by those with privilege who have access to resources and information about mental health. It is essential for them to educate themselves on how they can support Black people and people of color in their communities permanently
