Starliner Spacecraft: NASA’s Crewed Test Flight faces Uncertainties in Return to Earth.

Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner spacecraft is set to return to Earth on June 18 after its launch on June 5 from Florida. The mission is crucial for NASA to certify the Starliner for regular flights. However, uncertainties regarding repairs to malfunctioning components, weather conditions, and ISS scheduling have caused NASA officials in Houston to consider various contingencies for the spacecraft’s return.

NASA Deputy Program Manager for the ISS, Dina Contella, revealed a new issue with a valve on the Starliner on Tuesday. The Starliner has the capability to remain docked to the ISS for up to 45 days. NASA is closely monitoring the situation and is prepared to address any further complications that may arise during the spacecraft’s mission.
