As the high school spring sports season nears its end, Eugene-area athletes continue to shine in their respective sports. This week’s Register-Guard Athlete of the Week nominees feature a diverse range of athletes and sports.

Reagan Kumle, a senior softball player from Springfield, had a standout performance with a double, three RBIs, and a run scored in a 10-3 victory over Ashland. Meanwhile, McKenzie Larsen, a junior tennis player from Churchill, secured two wins at No. 1 singles, defeating opponents from North Eugene and Willamette.
