Local developer Duke Dodson is bringing a fresh concept to the former Scott’s Addition bar-arcade space with the opening of Parlay Bar & Lounge and the relocation of Graybo’s Sports Cards. After purchasing the building, Dodson is preparing to transform the Circuit Arcade Bar into a unique sports bar-card shop combination.
Graybo’s Sports Cards, owned by Dodson, Gray Burnette, and Ryan Fitz, specializes in selling unopened packs and boxes of sports cards, as well as collectible individual cards. The move from their current location on Grace Street to the larger 2,200 square foot space in Scott’s Addition will allow for growth and expansion of their business.
Parlay Bar & Lounge is planned to offer a unique sports bar experience with features such as a putting green, TVs, lounge seating, and private pod seating areas in its 3,300 square foot space. The bar will be managed by local chef Robyn Carter and restaurateur Kelsey Biser, who have previously collaborated with Dodson on other projects.
Both Parlay and Graybo’s are scheduled to open on May 18, adding to the vibrant dining scene in Scott’s Addition. Other upcoming additions to the neighborhood include Ballast, a restaurant and market from the owners of Yellow Umbrella, and Cochiloco, a Mexican restaurant from the owners of Y Tu Mamá.
