At the 2024 Color Guard World Championships, two local high school winter guards from South Florida stood out. Flanagan High, located in Pembroke Pines, scored an impressive 83.4 out of 100 and placed 13th in the Scholastic World Class Final. This made them the second-highest scoring Winter Guard in Florida.
