A new study by SplitMetrics has revealed that mobile users are increasingly using their smartphones to manage their daily tasks and organize their work. The report found that the top business and productivity apps have collectively seen billions of downloads, with Microsoft’s LinkedIn leading the way with 1.5 billion lifetime downloads. Other popular apps in the business category include Zoom, Microsoft Teams, OfficeSuite, and Indeed.

In the productivity category, Google dominates with apps like Google Drive, Google Calendar, Microsoft OneDrive, Google Assistant, and Google Keep. These apps have also received billions of downloads over their lifetime. The study highlights the apps that have shown significant growth year-over-year, such as Lopay, Etsy Seller, JobSwipe, Parcel Tracking, Shopify, PDF Reader, Notepad, All Document Reader, Google Tasks
