Siena’s women’s lacrosse team has a standout player in Grace Dobrzynski, who leads in assists this season. In her third season with the Saints, Dobrzynski has broken records for most assists in a single season in the MAAC and in Siena’s program history.
Dobrzynski, a junior attacker for the Saints, credits her growth as a distributor to the support and guidance of her teammates and coaches. Originally more of a scorer growing up in Rhode Island, she transitioned her game to become a strong feeder on the field. With a family background in medicine, Dobrzynski was drawn both to Siena’s lacrosse program and its Albany Medical College Science and Humanities program.
Throughout her journey, Dobrzynski has faced challenges and grown from them, both on and off the field. She has developed into a confident leader within the team, with head coach Danielle Schwan-Tetreault praising her adaptability and decision-making skills. With another year of eligibility remaining, Dobrzynski continues to strive toward her goal of becoming a strong leader and player.
Dobrzynski acknowledges that she still has room to grow and appreciates the challenges that have helped shape her into the player she is today. She reflects on how she learned and grew with the support of her teammates and coaches throughout her journey at Siena.
