Shingles Shot Drive-Thru Clinics Coming to Pennington Borough Municipal Hall Thanks to Hopewell Township Health Department and Wegmans Partnership

The Hopewell Township Health Department and Wegmans are partnering to host two shingles vaccine clinics at Pennington Borough Municipal Hall on April 17 and June 19, 2024. These clinics will offer adults aged 50 years and older the opportunity to receive the recommended two doses of the shingles vaccine, which can help prevent the disease and its complications. In addition, individuals aged 19 years and older with weakened immune systems are advised to get two doses of the vaccine due to their increased risk.

Individuals who only receive one dose at these clinics will need to visit Wegmans or another local pharmacy to obtain their second shot. It’s important for residents to sign up for one or both vaccines at these clinics.
