The Southern Mississippi Planning and Developing District (SMPDD) is collaborating with the Forrest County Board of Supervisors in Brooklyn, Mississippi to organize a Health & Resource Fair for seniors. The fair will be held at the Brooklyn Community Center on Thursday, April 18th from 10 a.m. to noon.
At the fair, seniors will have access to free health screenings, community resources, and aging services provided by SMPDD. Forrest County Board President Terri Bell hopes that this event will demonstrate the county’s commitment to the health and well-being of its residents.
In addition to the health services, refreshments and door prizes will also be available for attendees. The fair aims to provide a convenient opportunity for 60-plus age constituents in the Southern part of the county to access important health screenings and resources.
