The Seahawks and Titans are gearing up for their first seasons with new head coaches by holding joint practices together. The announcement was made recently, with the teams set to practice together on August 14 and 15 in Nashville, leading up to their preseason game on August 17.
This will be the 12th time that the Titans have hosted joint practices since 1999, but it will be a first for head coach Brian Callahan, who will be leading the team during these sessions. He will be joined by the new head coach of the Seahawks, Mike Macdonald, who is taking over for Pete Carroll.
The Seahawks and Titans actually faced off in a game last year, with the Seahawks coming out on top with a 20-17 win. Looking to build on that success, the teams will have an important opportunity to practice together before their upcoming showdown. The joint practices will allow both teams to work out any kinks and prepare for the challenges of the upcoming season.
