Joywave, a popular indie rock band from Rochester, has announced their upcoming 2024 Permanent Pleasure World Tour and the premiere of their film, Permanent Pleasure: A Film by Joywave. The tour will coincide with the release of their fifth studio album, Permanent Pleasure, set to drop on May 17.
The world tour will kick off on September 11 in Toronto, Canada and wrap up on November 14 in Utrecht, Netherlands. The US leg of the tour will feature HUNNY as the opening act. Presale tickets for the tour will be available starting at 10 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, May 15 with general ticket sales opening on Friday, May 17.
For fans interested in meeting the band, there will be a Q&A session following the film premiere on May 16 at The Little Theatre on East Avenue in Rochester. The film will only be shown for one night but fans who can’t attend in person will be able to stream it online through their official website joywavemusic.com/tour/.
In addition to the tour and film, Joywave has also released a limited-edition deluxe pop-out figurine version of the vinyl album that includes a Permanent Pleasure fleece catnip plush toy, a Glow In The Dark Beam T-shirt, a hand-painted cat figurine and a sleeping mask that fans can purchase online through joywavemerch.com/.
