Ovivo recently acquired the LM™ Mixer (Linear Motion) technology from Enersave Fluid Mixers Inc., with whom they have collaborated for 20 years. This acquisition includes the patents and know-how of the LM™ Mixer technology, which Ovivo has held a license to sell in North America for the past 10 years. By acquiring this innovative technology, Ovivo aims to expand its target markets globally and explore future innovations and opportunities for biosolids management and resource recovery.

One of the key processes in biosolids management is anaerobic digestion, which relies on efficient mixer systems to maintain active biological volume and prevent operational disruptions. The LM™ Mixer technology is a highly efficient, low-energy mixing system that outperforms other digester mixing technologies. Its design prevents the formation of rags and allows for cost-effective maintenance, resulting in optimal mixing efficiency and increased biogas generation.
