The New York Rangers completed an incredible comeback in Game 6 to beat the Carolina Hurricanes 5-3 and advance to the Eastern Conference Final. Chris Kreider played a crucial role in the victory, scoring a hat trick in the third period to erase a two-goal deficit for the Rangers.
In the final period, Kreider scored three goals to lead the Rangers to victory. His go-ahead goal came at the 15:41 mark when he tipped in a shot from Ryan Lindgren to make it 4-3. This put the Rangers ahead for the first time in the game and they never looked back.
