Be Gut Healthy.” However, Cobbs discovered that the drinks only contain approximately 2 grams of prebiotic agave inulin fiber, which she believes is not enough to provide any significant benefit.

The lawsuit also claims that consuming more Poppi to potentially receive prebiotic benefits would result in increased sugar consumption, which could outweigh any potential benefits. Cobbs is seeking monetary relief for herself and other similar customers who may have been misled by Poppi’s marketing claims. In response to the lawsuit, Poppi, based in Austin, Texas, stated that it stands behind its products and believes the lawsuit is baseless. The company is prepared to defend itself against the allegations.
