Phu Tho Tourist, the owner of Dam Sen Cultural Park, saw a profit of 5.5 billion VND in the first three months of the year, marking a significant improvement compared to previous quarters of losses. The company’s revenue in the first quarter reached nearly 65 billion VND, up 16% from the same period last year, and was the highest number in the past year and a half.
Despite an increase in revenue, costs still exceeded revenue by 3.7 billion VND, resulting in a gross loss. However, this loss was significantly lower than that of the previous quarter due to financial revenue increasing by 35%, thanks to dividends received from subsidiary Dam Sen Water Park Joint Stock Company. With reduced costs, Phu Tho Tourist’s profit after tax was over 5.5 billion VND.
Phu Tho Tourist manages various business units including Dam Sen Cultural Park, hotels, tourist service centers, and ecological calendars. The company also makes financial investments in hotels and participates in an association. Efforts are being made to make Dam Sen Cultural Park more attractive to visitors by increasing its revenue streams and offerings.
On the other hand, Dam Sen Water Park has rebounded due to effective communication campaigns and continuous improvements in services and infrastructure. The company aims to increase revenue and profit targets for the year by focusing on enhancing its offerings and revenue streams. Overall, Phu Tho Tourist is committed to driving growth and attracting more visitors to its various attractions through strategic business decisions and investments.
