OnePlus was the top-selling mobile phone brand in June, according to statistics from several retailers including Elisa, Telia, and Dna. The best-selling phones in the category featured cheaper models and 5G compatibility, with the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite being a popular choice among consumers at Gigant, Telia, and Dna. Meanwhile, Elisa’s best-seller was the Samsung Galaxy A15 5g.
The list of top-selling phones predominantly featured 5G models from big manufacturers such as Apple, Samsung, and Honor. Interestingly, Apple’s iPhone models 13 and 15 as well as Samsung Galaxy’s A series phones were also among the top sellers. For business customers, Apple and Samsung’s A-series devices were particularly popular. This highlights the divide between more expensive and budget-friendly models in the market.
Factors such as economic situations may influence consumer choices. Jyri Helistön, sales manager at Gigantti, suggested that tighter budgets could impact spending on certain phone categories. On the other hand, Elisa highlighted that promotional campaigns played a role in driving sales across various price ranges in June. Similarly, Telia noted a growing interest in 5G technology among customers with all top ten best-sellers being 5G enabled devices.
