The Shop Oberlin digital gift card program was recently launched by the Oberlin Business Partnership in a bid to boost community engagement and support local businesses. This convenient new way for residents to give back to their community while exploring the city, was announced by Sharon Pearson, the interim executive director of the Oberlin Business Partnership, in a news release.
Managed by Yiftee and secured by Mastercard, the Shop Oberlin digital gift card is a city-wide community card program that allows cardholders to visit 19 participating businesses throughout the city. These include coffee shops, bookstores, flower shops, hardware stores, and retail spots. The program offers an easy way for residents to support small businesses while enjoying the convenience of a digital gift card that can be used at multiple locations throughout the city.
In celebration of its launch, the Oberlin Business Partnership is offering a 20% bonus for each card purchased while supplies last. This bonus can be used to make the most of the funds on the card or can be gifted to friends and family with a personalized message. The Shop Oberlin Card is also an excellent option for local businesses and corporations looking for an alternative to big-brand gift cards for employee appreciation, holiday gifts, and client rewards.
By supporting Oberlin merchants through this program, residents can invest in their community’s heart and show their commitment to local economy. It presents an opportunity for small businesses while providing convenience of a digital gift card that can be used at multiple locations throughout the city.
