Norris Trophy Winner Roman Josi Leads Switzerland to Historic World Championship Semifinal Match Against Canada

At the IIHF World Championship in Czechia, Switzerland’s defenseman Roman Josi is currently competing for his native country. The Swiss team has never won a gold medal at the tournament and made it to the semifinal round where they will face Canada. Josi has been a crucial player for Switzerland, leading all tournament players in points with 11 (three goals, eight assists) and tying for the team lead in overall points as their captain. Kevin Fiala and Nino Niederreiter have also contributed significantly to Switzerland’s success with 11 points each (six goals, five assists and two goals, four assists respectively).
