Rochester Hills, located north of Detroit, was the site of a tragic shooting at a water park on Saturday evening. Nine people, including two children, were injured in the incident. The gunman opened fire before ultimately shooting himself after being surrounded by police.
The suspect was identified as a 42-year-old man and authorities believe the shooting was random. One child is in critical condition after being shot in the head, while his brother and mother are also injured. Six other victims are in stable condition. Oakland County Police Chief Michael Bouchard revealed that the suspect had a semi-automatic rifle and a handgun. The chief described how the suspect arrived at the water park, fired about 30 rounds, and reloaded several times before taking his own life.
