In Cleveland’s Larchmere neighborhood, UnBar Cafe has recently opened its doors to the public. The cafe’s owner, Melissa Garrett, is no stranger to success. She recently won the $20,000 top prize at JumpStart Inc.’s Small Business Impact Program Showcase.
The event, held at Cleveland’s House of Blues, celebrated the 20th cohort of JumpStart’s Small Business Impact program. This program offers entrepreneurs personalized advice and business training over a 12-week period. The showcase featured a pitch competition emceed by former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Cribbs and his wife, Maria Cribbs. The event was presented by the Cleveland Browns as well.
