New Juventus Manager Thiago Motta Ready to Restore Pride and Win Serie A Title

Juventus have appointed Thiago Motta as their new manager, following the departure of Massimiliano Allegri in the wake of the Coppa Italia final. The 41-year-old arrives from Bologna, where he led the team to a Champions League qualification in his two-year spell.

Motta’s positive style of play at Bologna earned him praise and club-record points tallies in both seasons. He now faces the challenge of leading Juventus back to the top of Serie A, a title they last won in 2020. Their recent season in the top three was the first in four years, highlighting the club’s need for improvement.

Motta has already been involved in transfer discussions with the club’s management and has approved a potential move for Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz. The deal could see Weston McKennie and Samuel Iling Jr move to the Premier League in exchange. This move hints at Motta’s commitment to building a competitive squad for the upcoming season.
