Benjamin T. Dillon, MBA, ACHE, has been appointed as the Interim Associate Director at VA Northern Indiana Health Care. Prior to his current role, Mr. Dillon worked at the Veterans Affairs Integrated Health Care System in Cincinnati, Ohio where he oversaw daily operations at 11 locations including a Level 1B VA Medical Center serving over 41,000 unique Veterans annually. He managed a team of 272 personnel and supported administrative operations at all 11 care sites through various services. Additionally, Mr. Dillon collaborated with Human Resources, the Office of Information Technology and National Contracting Office VISN 10.
Before joining VA Northern Indiana, Mr. Dillon served as Chief Supply Chain Officer at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center and held other roles within the Veterans Health Administration Procurement & Logistics Office. His professional background includes starting his Federal Service in the U.S Army as a Civil Affairs Specialist and eventually becoming an Intelligence Analyst at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He completed his undergraduate degree in Operations Management from the University of Cincinnati in 2008 and received a master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Medical Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2011. Mr. Dillon is also certified by Villanova University as a Black Belt Lean Six Sigma and holds FAC P/PM senior level certification and COR Level III certification.
As a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Mr. Dillon brings extensive experience and leadership to his new role as Interim Associate Director at VA Northern Indiana Health Care.
