On Monday night, the council held a meeting to review the results of the May 6 election and discuss matters related to them. Following the approval of the election results, incumbent Position 3 Councilman John Headrick and newly elected Position 1 Councilman Harry Barnes Jr. were sworn in by Dayton Municipal Judge Alan D. Headrick emphasized on taking into consideration future potential of property as well as past decisions made regarding its zoning classification before making any final decision on it.
