New CKE Restaurant Holdings Chief Technology and Growth Officer: Evolving the Digital Experience for Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s

CKE Restaurant Holdings, the parent company of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s, has appointed Justin Falciola as its chief technology and growth officer. In his new role, Falciola will be responsible for aligning business goals with information technology, digital strategy, and operations. He will also oversee the implementation of new technologies and support the digital evolution of loyalty, first-party, and third-party digital channels.

Falciola joins CKE from Papa John’s International, where he served as the chief insights and technology officer since 2018. Prior to Papa John’s, Falciola held roles at Humana, Fifth Third Bank, and JPMorgan Chase. In a statement, Falciola expressed his excitement about joining CKE Restaurants and helping Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s achieve their unique business goals by evolving team and guest experiences through technology.

Max Wetzel, CEO of CKE Restaurants, expressed his excitement about welcoming Justin Falciola to the organization. Carl’s Jr., which operates over 1000 restaurants in the US and has a presence in 24 countries worldwide is looking forward to leveraging technology with Falciola’s leadership to grow this iconic brand while Hardee’s operates approximately 1600 restaurants in the US and 13 countries worldwide is also set to benefit from this technological advancement under Falciola’s guidance.
