On Monday, the performance of stocks in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries was mixed. While some markets rose, others fell. In Abu Dhabi, the market index climbed by 0.103% to reach 9022.32 points, with trades totaling 945.78 million dirhams. However, the Dubai market index dropped by 0.29% to 4,000.25 points, and the Saudi Arabia TASI index fell by 0.28% to 11,697.04 points, with trades amounting to 8.6 billion riyals and 292 million shares traded respectively.
On the other hand, in Kuwait and Bahrain, the general market indices experienced a decline of 0.21% and 0.1%, respectively. The volume of shares traded in Kuwait was 138 million shares worth 34 million dinars through 12,530 cash transactions, while in Bahrain it was 791 thousand shares traded worth 240 thousand dinars through just over a million transactions respectively .
