Microsoft, Amazon, Google and Oracle Limit Cloud Services to Russian Companies Due to EU Sanctions

The European Union (EU) imposed these sanctions in December 2023, with the blocking measures for cloud services originally set to take effect on March 20. However, due to concerns about the impact on Russian businesses, these measures were given a short-time extension.

The restrictions target companies and organizations in industries such as architecture, design, construction, manufacturing, media, education, entertainment, building information modeling (BIM), computer-aided design (CAD), and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM). Individual persons are not affected by these restrictions.
