On June 13th, during the McLeod Health Dillon graduation ceremony for the Palmetto Leadership Dillon program, a generous gift was presented to the hospital. The donation came from the proceeds of a lip sync gala hosted by Palmetto Leadership Dillon as their annual fundraiser. Jenny Hardee, CEO of McLeod Health Dillon, led the way in raising over $8,000 for special projects at the hospital.
Johnnie Luehrs, President of the Dillon County Chamber of Commerce, presented a check to Jenny Hardee and Dr. Caetie Rabon, Regional Chief Medical Officer at McLeod Health Dillon on behalf of Palmetto Leadership Dillon. The donation will be used to support initiatives that will benefit not only the hospital but also the community it serves.
As an added honor, Rachel Gainey, CEO of McLeod Health Clarendon had the privilege of serving as the commencement speaker for the graduating class of Palmetto Leadership Dillon. Gainey shared her insights and experiences with the class as they embarked on their leadership journey. She played a key role in developing this program during her time at McLeod Health Dillon and was proud to see it come to fruition.
