The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has been recognized for its outstanding work in several categories in the Sixth Annual Hashtag Sports Awards. The awards, presented by The Engagement Academy of Sports Entertainment, highlight excellence in engagement within the sports, media, and entertainment industries.
The LPGA has been honored for its efforts in content creation, impact, video production, and brand partnerships. In particular, the organization has been named a finalist in five different categories: Best Women’s Sports Content for ‘Drive On: LPGA All Access,’ Best Engagement for Good for the LPGA Foundation’s One Million MORE Girls Campaign, Best Documentary: Long-Form for ‘The Shot’ celebrating Se Ri Pak’s win at the 1998 U.S. Women’s Open, Best Original Film Or Series: Long-Form for ‘Drive On: LPGA All Access,’ and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging for The Grant Thornton Invitational.
The winners of this year’s awards will be announced on June 6, 2024, in New York City.
