In the 2024-25 season, defender Tom James will be joining Leyton Orient for his third season with the club. Since signing from Hibernian in 2021, James has played a total of 120 games for the team and scored nine goals. In the most recent season, he played 41 times as Orient secured the League Two title with an impressive 91 points.
Despite finishing just outside of a play-off spot in League Two last season, James remains optimistic about the team’s potential to compete in League One. He believes that there were many positive aspects to build upon from their successful season and is confident that they can achieve great results once again in the upcoming campaign.
Before joining Leyton Orient, James began his career at Cardiff City before moving on to Yeovil Town in 2017 and later Hibernian in 2019. After loan spells at Wigan Athletic and Salford City, he eventually settled at Leyton Orient. With the League One fixtures for the upcoming season set to be announced soon, James and his teammates are preparing for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead as they embark on their new journey in League One.
