The spring sports season is in full swing for Lenawee County high school teams. On Monday, Clinton and Tecumseh’s girls soccer teams faced off, with Clinton emerging victorious. Aubrey Lauer scored six goals and Anna Schaffner added two more, while also contributing two assists. Jackie Whiting made six saves in goal to help secure the win. Tecumseh’s Shaylinn Drouillard scored both of her team’s goals.
Meanwhile, Blissfield’s girls soccer team played Monroe on Monday and suffered a 7-2 loss. In lacrosse, the Tecumseh girls team began their season with a game against Sylvania Northview. Despite a 16-4 loss, Sapphira Williams and Emily Burgess each had a goal and an assist, while Jayden Poley and Jazlyn Reau also scored for Tecumseh. Northview traveled from Ohio to play the game.
