Lamborghini Unveils High-Performing Urus SE, Reinforcing Electrification Initiatives in Beijing Motor Show”.

The Lamborghini Urus SE made its world public debut at the Auto China Beijing 2024 motor show, following its unveiling at the Volkswagen Group Media Night on April 24. This new-generation Urus, the first PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) luxury super SUV, features a new design with optimized aerodynamics, unprecedented on-board technologies, and a hybrid powertrain with an output of 800 CV. The Urus SE sets a new benchmark in the segment in terms of comfort, performance, efficiency, emissions, and driving pleasure.

At the same event, Lamborghini is showcasing two other vehicles: the Revuelto, the first super sports V12 hybrid HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle), and the Huracán Tecnica, a rear-wheel drive super sports car with a V10 engine. Automobili Lamborghini’s Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann expressed his satisfaction at presenting their latest achievements to the automotive industry. He noted that the Urus has created a new segment and become one of Lamborghini’s most successful models since its launch.

Winkelmann highlighted the evolution of the super SUV and emphasized that the new Urus SE is currently the most powerful SUV on the market. He stated that it represents a significant step forward in Lamborghini’s electrification plan ‘Direzione Cor Tauri.’ Winkelmann also reflected on presenting the Urus concept car twelve years ago in Beijing which paved way for its success today as well as its position as one of three pillars in Lamborghini’s lineup.
