Korean Business Leaders Commit to Expanding Hue Central Hospital and Supporting Medical Human Resource Training in Vietnam

During a meeting with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh in Seoul on July 2, Kim Jin Pyo, President of the Korea Global Innovation Research Association, expressed the organization’s commitment to supporting the expansion of Hue Central Hospital and the construction of a medical human resource training center in the Central region. He outlined plans for collaboration between Korean agencies and Vietnam, including projects to support the hospital’s development and provide training in medical professions such as nursing.

Kim Jin Pyo also highlighted Vietnam’s strong economic growth, projecting a GDP growth of 6% in 2024, which he attributed to effective government management and direction. In addition to supporting infrastructure projects, the Korea Global Innovation Research Association aims to exchange knowledge on topics like artificial intelligence in education and connecting global innovation activities.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed appreciation for Kim Jin Pyo’s contributions to the Vietnam-Korea relationship, particularly in healthcare support and projects like Hue Central Hospital. The Prime Minister directed relevant ministries to facilitate the implementation of these initiatives.

The meeting between Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Kim Jin Pyo occurred during the Prime Minister’s official visit to South Korea from June 30 to July 3. The visit was arranged at the invitation of South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, further strengthening ties between the two nations.
