Koch Family Honored at Olin Distinguished Alumni Awards: Celebrating Four Decades of Support

1 min read

In 2016, the Koch brothers and their spouses established a family business initiative at Olin Business School with a $1 million gift. This initiative was followed by additional gifts of more than $9 million in 2019, which created the Koch Center for Family Enterprise and its associated directorship and professor of practice. The center focuses on studying family-owned businesses and providing services to the family business community.

The Koch family members were honored at the annual Olin Distinguished Alumni Awards event held on April 4th at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Along with the Koch family, three outstanding alumni were recognized for their career achievements: Andrea Adegas Faccio, Eric M. Green, and JD Ross.

These four individuals have supported Olin Business School for over four decades with their generous contributions. The Koch family’s commitment to the school is evident through their establishment of the family business initiative and creation of the Koch Center for Family Enterprise. Their contributions have helped shape the school into what it is today and will continue to do so in the future.
